An island within an island
The sea of Sant'Andrea is well known for its underwater world full of life and the cristal clear water. The sandy beach, 200 meters long, is well equipped and managed by the "Consorzio Capo Sant'Andrea". The seabed, sandy and shallow, allows children to play without problems.
Remember that the beach can be accessed using the Marciana Municipal Minibus, which links the various beaches to the main localities and passes right outside our complex. The service runs from the last week in June to the first week in September.
On the right side of the beach, a path, carved in the rocks, leads to the smaller Cotoncello beach, nearly a small natural swimmingpool with shallow water, ideal for those with small kids. The surrounding rocks offer numerous possibilities to settle down and sun bath.
On the left side, an easy trail, in the middle of the rocks and with small wooden bridges, leads to the Sant'Andrea cliffs, where the contrast of the spectacular rock formations and the water with very intense colors is absolutely magic. The cliffs are granit stone formations, disapearing softly in the cristal clear sea.
